- Paul Shepherd Review added: 2018.05.15★ ★ ★ ★ ★I have carried out most of my training, including short courses and refreshers at Warsash but I am very glad that I found Red Ensign. Based just a short ferry ride away from Southampton on the Isle of Wight, I was impressed with the standard of their operation from the off, as I was offered a (free!) cup of tea by the staff as I walked through the front door.
I was there for the one day FRB refresher and I was extremely impressed with the quality of the staff and the whole operation throughout the course. Refreshingly, we were treated like experienced professionals, the boats were great and the training was superb.
Before the course, I was unable to attend the initial date I had booked due to an injury. I had expected for this to be a disaster and to be charged to move the dates, etc., but the lady I spoke to in the office went out of her way to find me another date that worked.
I really cannot recommend Red Ensign enough. It is a hidden gem and I will be heading back there for all of my refresher courses next time.
